The climate, the soil and the presence of exclusive varieties already indicated (Albarin Tinto, Carrasquín and Verdejo black-and-white Albarin), influence the quality and personality of the wines of the DOP Cangas, giving typical organoleptic characteristics that differentiate them from any other wine.

Grape varieties:

White: Albarin white *, Gran Albillo, Godello, Gewürztraminer, Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Picapoll Blanco or Extra.

Reds: Red Albarin *, Carrasquín *, Garnacha Tintorera, Mencía *, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Verdejo black *.* Preferred variety.

Tasting Notes:

Young wines special selection presents a ruby red color to red cherry, clean and bright. They are characterized by aromas of average intensity, clean, honest with a great aromatic potential series of flowers, fruits, and minerals. In the mouth, fresh, balanced acidity, complete recalling the sensations experienced in olfactory phase.

Wines with some mention of aging special selection appear red with brown highlights according to their period of aging in oak barrels, clean and bright.

They are characterized by francs, pleasant and intense fruit aromas of the variety or varieties used and of its aging joined with balsamic aromas, spices and toasted perfectly assembled quality Woods, without abnormal odour. In mouth, complex, fresh balanced acidity, where they mix with the tertiary primary fruit flavors provided by quality wood.

White wines have a pale yellow to greenish yellow. Clean and bright. They are characterized by clean intensity aromas media dominated by aromas of fruit with floral and mineral hints of variable intensity. In the mouth, transmit fresh sensations , balanced acidity, fruitiness, mineral touches of white flowers.

White wines with some mention of aging have increased chromatic intensity than young white wines, provided by its manufacturing process, clean and bright. They are characterized by clean aromas with tones spices and toasted interspersed with fruit and floral aromas of varieties. In the mouth, it should convey fat, large and complex sensations with freshness, with a well assembled oak.
